Day 9, 10, 11, 12, 13

 Second week in Lampang

    In the second week of the Sea Teacher programme, I was busy with my teaching duties as a teacher's assistant. I was allocated two classes on Monday, one class on Tuesday, two classes on Wednesday, one class on Thursday, and two classes on Friday. My teaching hours are usually at 08.30-09.30 and 12.30-13.30. Below I will share the schedule for grade 4/1 and 4/2, the schedule for grade 4/2 has actually not been updated by the Meaw teacher, so there are some of my teaching hours wrong there.

     The topic for grade 4 at this week's meeting is still on the mixed combined chapter. This week, students are working more on problems from the textbook and in the afternoon, as usual, I help Teacher Vin prepare lunch for the students. Then, if there is no maths class, I will spend time in the teacher's room working on the lesson plans and some revisions from teacher Vin I tried my best to follow his rules, although sometimes it was confusing because he asked me to follow the Indonesian learning competency standards, because I think the Indonesian and Thai curricula are very different. However, he is my mentor at school and I will follow his rules and try my best to make a good lesson plan.    

Teaching Assistant

    On Friday, 8 September 2023 after teaching I, Anjani, Shaina, and Ana went to the central plaza to buy some equipment to make learning media. Me, Anjani, and Mega also planned to do some laundry after returning from the central plaza. It was raining heavily so we got a little wet, and on the way back we passed some flooded roads.

    Then, as we approached the dormitory, I was a little surprised that the streets around the dormitory were also flooded. After arriving at the dorm, as planned we did the laundry together, while waiting for the laundry to finish we bought dinner at seven eleven and braved the flood. Then, after eating, we practiced dancing on the rooftop for the final presentation.

    Actually I didn't do much outside activities this week, because after teaching and returning to the dormitory I slept more, because I felt tired and also got influenza, but I have to keep trying my best to continue another amazing experience in Lampang...
