Day 14, 15

 A Memorable Weekend

    On 9 September was our second weekend in Lampang. This means that next week we will do our teaching practice, so, before we do the practice, all SEA-Teacher participants will go to some places in Lampang with Ma'am Ying and buddy students from Lampang Rajabhat University. Then, we were picked up by a van at 9am by Ma'am Ying, we all wore the elephant pants that we had bought before and Ma'am Ying asked us to take a photo together. below is a photo of us together in front of the dormitory wearing elephant pants.

    Then, before heading to the temple we bought breakfast at seven eleven and spent almost an hour in the van to reach the temple. The name of the temple is Wat Phra That Lampang Luang where we went around to learn more about its architecture. In addition, it turned out that this trip was not only SEA-Teacher participants who came, but also students from China and we took turns taking photos to save the beautiful memories and feelings here. 

 

   About almost half an hour there we continued our journey and had lunch together at Hang Chat, I ordered egg noodles with meat which tastes like meatballs in my country but for this food is only slightly sweeter than meatballs. After eating and recharging, we went to the elephant school, elephant hospital, and elephant museum. We learnt more about elephants in Thailand.

    Our next trip was to visit a coffee shop called Dapbliw Expresso and Tea Bar to relax. Ma'am Ying bought us a lot of sweet food and drinks, I really liked all of them because my favourite is something sweet, thank you Ma'am Ying 💓.

    In the evening, LPRU planned to take us to the night market, but due to the rain, the plan was cancelled. So, the end of our trip was to the central plaza to buy food for dinner. You could say that our way of capturing memories is by taking pictures together in every place we visit.     On Sunday, 10 September I stayed in the dormitory and started preparing the learning media that I will use for teaching next week.
